A CCTV inspection is the industry standard for obtaining a clear, internal view of your pipeline’s condition. With a 300m (1000′) cable reach and a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera, our technicians can investigate fine details, identify unexplained flow restrictions, and record the exact state of your assets in real time.
While video provides the visual “what,” our integrated Laser and LiDAR inspection attachments provide the mathematical “how much.” By adding a laser profiler to the crawler, we can capture the precise inner dimensions of the pipe to measure deflections caused by dents, wrinkles, or freeze-bulges. This technology is essential for determining the severity of deformations that a standard camera might miss, allowing for a quantitative assessment of the pipe’s structural integrity.
Our profilometer systems create a 360-degree map of the pipe wall, imaging welds, taps, and sluffed concrete with millimeter precision. This data is critical for identifying changes in pipe material, verifying the position of valves, and investigating blockages. Whether you are dealing with a 150mm (6”) municipal line or a 1500mm (60”) industrial main, our combined visual and laser tools deliver a comprehensive profile of your system’s health.
Crawlers work best in low-flow or dewatered lines. For fully submerged or high-velocity lines, we recommend our tethered or free-swimming RFT tools.
It provides certified mathematical proof of pipe ovality or deflection (such as the 5% rule) required for engineering sign-offs.
Technicians can rotate 360° and zoom in on specific welds or cracks to verify defect severity without moving the entire crawler.
Our high-torque crawlers handle minor debris, but we recommend a basic jetting run for heavily silted lines to ensure the laser reaches the pipe wall.
